I couldn’t wait to shoot Angela and James’s wedding and on Friday it finally came round and what a day it was.
It was the first time I have shot at Hedsor House in Taplow and I hope it’s the first of many as the venue is simply stunning inside and out! The weather was kind to us for most of the day so we got the opportunity to use the venue to its fullest and with a great couple like Angela and James I couldn’t help but get some beautiful shots.
The ceremony room was decorated perfectly with lime washed chairs and trees with fair lights and it was packed full with Angela and James’s closest friends and family. Angela looked stunning in her elegant dress designed by Lusan Mandongus as she walked down the aisle with her very proud father Duncan. The ceremony was beautiful with two lovely readings and some lovely moments as James and Angela read their vows and exchanged rings.
Whilst a string quartet played everyone enjoyed canapes and drinks on the lawn whilst we made the most of the sunshine to take some natural portraits and family group shots before taking James and Angela to a few spots around the grounds for some couple shots before everyone was called for dinner.
I’m told most of the dining room decorations choices were down to Angela and what beautiful taste, the room looked stunning! I even heard a couple of the staff saying it was one of the best dining room setups they have seen and with over 70 weddings a year at Hedsor that’s quite a compliment.
The speeches were delivered perfectly by Duncan, James and his Best Man. Some very funny stories as you can tell by the reaction shots below and some very heart felt moments too.
As the night drew on there was a little rain but we still managed to make it outside to use the outside of the house which was now all lit up to do some cool shots of the boys and some final shots with James and Angela before everyone headed to the dancefloor to watch the new Mr and Mrs Tearle have their first dance as husband and wife.
Huge congratulations to Angela and James on putting together such a fantastic wedding day. I loved capturing it all and I can’t wait to show you the full collection but for now heres your sneak peek!
(Big thanks also to Tony Bayliss for assisting and 2nd shooting on the day)
