Anneka and Matthew came to me earlier this year and asked me to photograph them renewing their vows on their 10th wedding Anniversary surrounded by all their friends and family at Crockwell Farm in Northamptonshire.

The day soon came round and what a sunny day it was! They couldn’t have picked a better Summer’s day and as their guests started arriving at 4pm for pre ceremony drinks and canapes everyone was enjoying the venue and the sunshine!

Anneka was busy getting ready with her 9 bridesmaids and lovely daughters who were also her flower girls for the day. It was a busy room to say the least but everyone was full of excitement and happiness for Anneka and Matthew who had been planning this day for many months and now it was finally here.

Matthew was enjoying a few pre ceremony drinks with his Best man and two sons who were page boys for the day. Anneka and Matthew are all about family and to spend such a special day with their four children must have been great and looking back through the photos they had displayed around the venue they had come a long way in 10 years of marriage and are still very much in love.

As Anneka and Matthew left the ceremony (covered in confetti I might add) everyone enjoyed drinks under the big oak tree which has become a trademark of Crockwell farm as it lights up beautifully at night as you will see below.

The colour purple was very much the theme colour of the day and the reception room was decorated beautifully with personalised favours, Cadbury’s chocolates, name tags, photos and flowers. It looked great and I captured as many details as I could before everyone came in to enjoy dinner. One person from each table was chosen as the chef and was given the duty of carving the lamb joints which created a fun atmosphere and a lovely start to the meal.

After the meal we had a chance to take some shots of Anneka and Matthew around sunset which is always my favourite time of the day to shoot and I got some beautiful portraits of them both around the grounds before the band got the party well and truly started as the dance floor started to fill and I’m sure stayed that way the rest of the evening.
