I had such a great time photographing Angela and Mark’s wedding on Friday. They had a lovely ceremony at Tring Church followed by a glitzy reception at The Gatsby Restaurant in Berkhamsted.

I met up with Angela who was getting ready at Pendley Manor Hotel with her lovely bridesmaids and family. I got the chance to work with two ladies again who I call the “Dream Team”, Juliet Cunningham and Lorraine Newark who did an amazing job getting 10 ladies ready on time with hair and make up.

Angela looked stunning in her dress and there were many emotional moments throughout the morning between her and her bridesmaids/daughter and father. We even had the chance to take some fun shots with Angela and her bridesmaids in the Pendley grounds before Angela and her father left in style, in a Rolls Royce!!

Alex was busy covering Mark and the Groomsmen at the church and they all looked very dapper in their suits as they greeted guests upon their arrival.

The weather had held out for us and Angela made a grand entrance as their car was led by a Piper playing the bagpipes as they made their way to the church doors.

Tring church is beautiful inside and Angela and Peter’s walk down the aisle to join hands with Mark was another highlight of day.

The service was lovely with readings from friends and family and many smiles and laughs as well as Hymns and words of advice from the Vicar. I loved capturing it all.

The sun was shining as Angela and Mark walked back out the church doors as husband and wife to be congratulated by all their guests.

After some confetti throwing we made the most of the church grounds with some couple photos before heading off to The Gatsby!

The Gatsby Restaurant provides a grand setting for a wedding with alfresco seating out the front, a fully stocked bar, chandeliers, a cool staircase, and a smart dining area complete with a grand piano.

Angela and Mark were cheered into the room as their Piper once again played a few tunes to start the wedding breakfast. Everyone got involved as the amazing Pianist played some classics, dancing, singing and cheering. The little ones got right up close to the action, sat on the piano as they were serenaded. One of the best wedding breakfast atmospheres I have ever had at a wedding.

Next up were the speeches and Peter, Mark and the two best men Rob and Alan did a great job of thanking the many people who had helped make the wedding such a great success and also relive many funny stories.

With the Gatsby all lit up we couldn’t miss a great photo opportunity and finished off the couple photos with some creative light shots out the front as the day turned to night. Then we all headed in for the first dance to end the formalities and really get the party started!!

Angela and Mark, thanks so much for asking me to photograph your wedding day. We had so much fun with you guys and all your lovely guests. I hope you’re having a great time on honeymoon! Heres your sneak peek storyboard!
