Last Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Grace and Sam’s awesome wedding at St Nicholas Church in Kidlington and then a beautiful reception at the always stunning Tythe Barn in Launton.

Grace and Sam are such a lovely couple, full of laughter and love for each other, always thinking of others and just a joy to be around. I knew their day would be be a cracker and it sure was!

I started the day at Grace’s parents home literally a stones throw from the church. It was a really relaxed bridal prep session with people popping in and out to say hello and wish Grace good luck. I loved Grace’s Dad’s reaction when he saw Grace for the first time and Grace looked very elegant in her beautiful lace dress.

Sam and the Groomsmen were enjoying a few pre wedding refreshments at the village hall and I met up with them for a few quick shots at the church before Grace came walking down the road (I told you the church was close!) with her sister Emma (Bridesmaid) and three flowers girls.

The Vicar Charles gave a lovely service and there were readings from friends and family throughout. Sam and Grace were all smiles as they exchanged rings and read their vows. Truly a pleasure to capture moments like these.

Sam and Grace had hired an amazing Corvette to drive over to the Tythe Barn in style! The weather was sun and rain so we nipped out when we could to get some shots around the barn whilst everyone enjoyed drinks and canapes in the cowshed.

The main meal was a self carve roast and one person from each table had been whisked away and dressed up in full chefs whites unbeknown to the guests and it was great as they all appeared dancing down the aisles!

After dinner it was time for the speeches which were delivered with perfection by David, Ray, Sam and James. So many funny and heartfelt moments. My favourite being when Sam gave Grace a frame which said “5 Things I love about Grace” , brownie points well and truly earned there Sam 🙂

Onto the evening and the band really got the dance floor rocking, people were swinging around, playing air guitar and throwing every shape imaginable. We had a great time capturing it all. Best dance floor we have had in a long while.

Grace and Sam, (hopefully your reading this on a beach in the Seychelles), we had such a fun time with you and all your guests and I think your agree the photos show that below.
