On Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa and Guy’s black and white themed wedding with the ceremony being held at All Saints Church in Wooton Underwood followed by a beautiful reception at Magnolia Park Golf Club.
The weather was perfect as I arrived to meet up with Lisa and her family/bridesmaids at her Mum’s house. Lisa was busy finishing her final preparations with the flower girls full of excitement running around her. Lisa had a few nerves but they seemed to vanish once she put on her stunning dress just in time for a few photos before everyone left for the church.
Guy arrived in style in a stretch Hummer Limo with his family, Ushers and Best Men. I love Autumn weddings, full of colour, and the church was surrounded by trees with leaves falling and changing all around us. A perfect setting for friends and family to get together and celebrate the bringing together of two families.
Lisa soon made her own stylish entrance in a beautiful vintage car with her father Laurie who proudly walked his only daughter down the aisle. It was an emotional ceremony with some lovely readings, a few tears and lots of smiles. The church is 12th century and was absolutely packed to the rafters with Lisa and Guy’s family and friends which created a lovely atmosphere as a very happy Mr and Mrs Dizenobia walked back down the aisle.
With the sun shining everyone enjoyed mingling outside and congratulating the happy couple before they made their way through a confetti tunnel and into the car to make their way over to Magnolia park where everyone enjoyed drinks and canapes on the lawn whilst we did a few group and couple shots.
There were some great little spots around the golf club which we used, along with incorporating the colours of the season and of course the sunshine which we had been blessed with.
It was soon time for the wedding breakfast which was amazing! Guy is Italian and food always plays a big part in Italian family occasions and this one was no different. Guy was such a gent and wouldn’t stop asking us if we had had enough to eat and the waiting staff wouldn’t stop bringing us food. We felt like guests and I would like to give Guy and Lisa a big thank you for that, I was stuffed π
The speeches took place between courses, Laurie, Guy, Mark, Angelo and Sam did a fantastic job. There were many stories shared and a few pictures, they all had the guests in fits of laughter and there was even a slideshow at the end of Lisa and Guy growing up and their times together throughout the years.
Evening guests soon started to arrive and it was soon time for the first dance which also had an Italian flavour with the happy couple being wrapped in streamers! A great finish to the days formalities!
